Welcome

DARWelcome to the Mary Torr Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

We serve the areas of Rochester, Strafford, Milton, Farmington, Union, Wakefield, Sanbornville, and Barrington, New Hampshire.

The Mary Torr Chapter was chartered on October 25, 1906, by Mrs. Millie A. G. Worcester, and is one of twenty-one chapters in the New Hampshire State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution.

We are a diverse group of ladies who share a love of history, genealogy, education, patriotism, preservation, and fun.

Chapter members participate in programs on history, preservation, genealogy and education. We promote literacy in our community, present citizenship awards and scholarships in local schools, and support our veterans and active military. Members participate in commemorative events such as Constitution Week, Flag Day, 4th of July and Memorial Day. And we have fun!

We invite you to attend one of our meetings to learn more about DAR and our chapter. Please click here to email us for more information.
